Walnut Ridge, Ark. – The American Midwest Conference has announced its post-season honors following the conclusion of regular season conference play, and three Williams Baptist College baseball players have received post-season accolades for their performances on the field. Also, an additional flock of Eagles received Academic All-Conference honors.
Coffman is a junior second baseman from Keiser, Ark. He hit .303 (47-for-155) this season with six doubles, 22 RBIs, and struck out only five times in 155 at-bats this season.
Hart is a freshman third baseman from Hoxie, Ark. He finished with a .300 batting average (21-for-70), which included a pair of home runs.
Fay was a senior and graduated from WBC on Saturday, May 3rd. He primarily played shortstop throughout his career as an Eagle and his senior year was statistically his best season at Williams. He led the team with a .374 (46-for-123) batting average, 28 RBIs, 15 doubles, 33 runs scored and 14 stolen bases.
WBC also had ten players receive Academic All-Conference honors. Hart, Mitchell Dennis (SR/Neeleyville, Mo.), Jim Manney (SR/Little Rock, Ark.), Cogan Ford (JR/Bono, Ark), Jon Coburn (SO/Bells, Tenn. ), Hunter Broadway (SO/Bells, Tenn.), Michael Ludwig (SO/Heber Springs, Ark.), Dalton Freshour (FR/West Plains, Mo. ), Eric Moore (FR/Jacksonville, Ark. ) and Dalton Nilges (FR/Bourbon, Mo. ) were all honored for their success in the classroom.
