Walnut Ridge, Ark. - The Williams Baptist College soccer program announced the addition of three players for the 2017-18 season. Marcus Lee (FR/Vilonia, Ark.), Tomas Lira (FR/Van Buren, Ark.), and Herman Roblero (FR/Monette, Ark.) will be wearing the royal blue Eagles jersey for the first time in the fall. They will join 18 returners for the season.
"We are excited to have a group of young, talented players that will mesh with our experienced players that we already have," summed up Head Coach Gabriel Sitibaldi.
Lee joins Williams after graduating from Vilonia High School in Vilonia, Ark. "Marcus is a fast player. He is a hard worker that will help us by using his speed. I am excited to see what he can do for WBC," stated Sitibaldi.
Lira comes to WBC from Van Buren High School in Van Buren, Ark. "Tomas is a leader that communicates really well with his teammates. He is an explosive defender that can help us," noted the coach.
Roblero comes to the Eagles program after graduating from Buffalo Island Central High School in Monette, Ark. He will be a forward or wide attacker for Williams. "Herman is a good offensive player. He will help us with his passes and his speed. I think that Herman will be a good fit for us," stated Sitibaldi.
