Walnut Ridge, Ark. - The Williams Baptist College cross country program released its 2017 schedule on Monday afternoon. The team has scheduled seven meets from August 31 through November 3.
The season will begin with a trip to Batesville, Ark., at the Lyon College Invitational. The women will run at 4 p.m., followed by the men at 4:45 p.m., on August 31.
The teams will follow that up with a trip to Hollister, Mo., where they will compete at the College of the Ozarks Invitational on September 9. Next, and for the fourth straight year, the Eagles will run in the Chile Pepper Cross Country Festival in Fayetteville, Ark. This year the race will be on September 30.
The teams will run in three races in October. On the seventh, they will run in Clarksville, Ark., at the University of the Ozarks Invitational, followed by the Little Rock Invitational on the 14th, and the St. Louis Fall Classic on the 21.
The American Midwest Conference Championships will be on November 3. The location and times have not been announced yet.
